Vaccination Policy:
For the protection of your pet and all of our patients, we require proof of current vaccinations given by a Veterinarian to be on file in your record for the following: RABIES, BORDETELLA, DHLP-PC and a Negative Heartworm Test.
All pets will be checked in and out through the clinic's front desk. If your pet needs any additional services from the Veterinarian, let the receptionist know and they will be provided during your pet's visit with our groomer.

All grooms include a Hydro-Surge bath at no additional cost. A Hydro-Surge bath produces a healthier skin and coat, cleans better than a regular bath, and reduces shedding. The Clipper-Vac System is safer and more comfortable for your pet by providing a closer trim without nicks or clipper burn and less pulling at mats and tangles. Our groomers LOVE to put fancy bows, bandannas, and baby powder cologne on her step children.

Also standard for all grooms is ear cleaning, nail trimming, and if necessary, anal gland expression, sanitary trim, and trimming of paws.

Additional Services Available:
    * Shampoo, fluff dry, and brush service

The Hair Attack

The Hair Attack is a four-step process designed to reduce shedding and improve your pet's skin and coat. Notice the word "reduce". Contrary to the hype, there is no magic product that stops shedding. Only a high quality diet and frequent grooming will help control it.

1.The pet is bathed with the Hydro-Surge Bathing System. During the Hydro-Surge Bath, the shampoo penetrates through the coat, massaging and nourishing the skin while removing dirt and dander, and thoroughly cleaning your pet.

2.     Often, much of the dead hair can be removed during the bathing process using a slicker brush and/or comb while the coat is soapy.

3.     After a thorough rinsing, a leave-in conditioner is applied to the coat to help lubricate the hair shafts, which helps in removing dead hair.

4.Your pet is then airbrushed using a powerful dryer with low heat until the fur is at least 80% dry. If a cage dryer is used to finish the drying process, no heat is used and the timed dryer turns off automatically to avoid overheating your pet. Once the fur is completely dry, any remaining loose hair is removed. The method of removal depends on the type of coat.

After finishing this process, your pet will look its best until it is time for his or her next "Hair Attack". Short haired pets may need to be groomed every two or three weeks to control shedding. Longer haired pets can often go four weeks between grooms.
